Alsadhan Trading & Spar: Towards a More Cooperative Workflow
Alsadhan Trading & Spar aimed for a rapid migration of its email data and collaboration platform to Google Workspace. To get there, iSolution helped in project initialization and configuration, in addition to user provisioning and management.
The challenge
Alsadhan’s major issue was security and data backups. IT had to waste time exporting data from the exchange server to a local drive. They also had to make separate investments in security systems, from firewalls and inbox security to an on-premises cybersecurity team. They sought a simple and secure solution to replace the existing setup, which would also improve communication and collaboration.
The solution
iSolution offered Alsadhan Trading & Spar Google Workspace to replace the existing Exchange. We did the migration in multiple batches based on department and domain level, because the migration tool consumes server bandwidth, to avoid any disturbance for users. Finally, we ensured change management sessions ran in parallel.
The result
The migration to Google Workspace was seamless and efficient, and has been a valuable asset to the company. Google Workspace has improved SPAR’s security, productivity, and collaboration in a number of ways. In addition, end user training sessions were delivered for all employees during the migration, to ensure users faced no challenges while moving to Google Workspace.
While we were struggling with the on-prem exchange environment, we decided to migrate to the cloud with a better collaboration workflow. Thanks to iSolution’s dedicated support and day-to-day follow-ups, we chose Google Workspace among all other providers, for its great features — a smooth experience for the end user on one hand and for the admins on the other.
