DATAFLOW Secure Transformation by Google Workspace and Chrome OS
iSolution offered the knowledge that DataFlow Group needs — including moving business productivity applications to Google Workspace, making sure it fits for purpose, getting licenses in place, and transforming the hardware infrastructure.
The challenge
The remote work model presented several challenges, such as growing cost on 3rd party tools annually. On the other hand, DataFlow Group desired Data Loss Prevention and Security Center features.
The solution
We assisted DataFlow in evaluating Google Workspace Enterprise Plus with Archived Licenses and implemented security policies per Google’s approach aligned with their internal IT policies. Alongside this, they began the shift to Chrome OS for their users — procuring Chromebooks and using Chrome OS Flex on remaining legacy devices. Today they have 95% Chrome OS-powered devices.
The result
iSolution helped DataFlow Group reduce the cost of the 3rd party product they were using for IP & device-based restrictions by successfully upgrading them, and put in place Security Center policies. DataFlow transitioned its 500+ workforce to a remote working environment with Google Workspace and became 100 percent operational within 48 hours in its new remote model.
