Abdali Hospital: Towards a Transformative Change in Workflow
iSolution helped Abdali Hospital in its digital transformation journey by migrating users’ data from O365 to Google Workspace and creating a full intranet site that meets all of the hospital’s business needs.
The challenge
The Abdali team faced a challenge of securing data and increasing collaboration among a large number of employees. On the other hand, they had to invest in a third-party email filtering application and a customized portal for booking appointments, internal communication, and more.
The solution
The iSolution team performed the migration of users’ data in batches to ensure that all data was transferred. Additionally, we created an intranet site from scratch using Google Sites and Apps Script to replicate the SharePoint site. This site contains a complete solution for booking doctors’ appointments, and employees are provided with all information such as quick links, news, and department details.
The result
The Abdali team successfully transitioned out of Microsoft after providing on-site training to end-users and admins. They are now using the new site efficiently for all workflows, including booking management. The new site has also helped improve collaboration and data security. Finally, Google Workspace reshaped Abdali Hospital’s remote work capabilities and environment.
